Giveaway #8: Math Essentials Whole Numbers & Integers

Check out my other Math Essentials giveaways and reviews...
Pre-Algebra Concepts
No-Nonsense Algebra

Today's giveaway is for the first Math Essentials topical book. These books are for grades 4-8. These books are just as great as the others! These topical books do not have a DVD to go with them as the complete books do, but the lessons still serve a great purpose with providing great warm up and review. The Helpful Hints section help clarify and review key points for the presented concepts to reinforce those technicalities that are oftentimes forgotten (not that I'd know anything about forgetting math skills! Ha!). If your child just needs to brush up on certain concepts, these are the way to go!

To get us started, let's giveaway Whole Numbers and Integers! Click to see the Table of Contents and Sample Pages.

Whole Numbers and Integers
This is where it all starts. To be successful in math it is necessary to master all whole number operations. Not having a strong background in whole numbers would be like trying to read without knowing the complete alphabet. This book covers all four operations for both whole numbers and integers. Also included are plenty of practical, real-life problem solving situations. This book will ensure that students have a strong set of foundational skills from which to work.

IMPORTANT!! Since there are multiple Rafflecopters set up on this page in order to enter the giveaways, if the rafflecopter does not show or does not show properly, please click on the title link of the individual post for each giveaway.

I like the idea of this Math Essentials book due to it reinforcing and reintroducing the building blocks that build that strong foundation that is so needed in math. Plus I like the idea of using plenty of practical, real-life problem solving situations.

I have been impressed with the sample pages that I've looked at from this program thus far. I think that my youngest, whom math is not the easiest subject, would find it easier to understand and would relate just a little bit better to this program. It would be a delightful addition (or used singly) to his daily routine of math work!
Thank you so much for offering this! :-)

I like the catching up or filling in gaps part of the books. I also think the page layouts are good.

I have wanted to try a new Math Curriculum, and this may just be a good one for us!

I am new to this, but like anything that helps my children learn.
