Today's giveaway is for Math Essentials Geometry. This is one of several topical books by Math Essentials and are for grades 4-8. The topical books are just as great as the others! They do not have a DVD to go with them as the complete books do (see review), but the lessons still serve a great purpose with providing great warm up and review. The Helpful Hints section helps clarify and review key points for the presented concepts to reinforce those technicalities that are oftentimes forgotten (not that I'd know anything about forgetting math skills! Ha!). If your child just needs to brush up on certain concepts, these are the way to go!

This book will provide students with al the essential geometry skills. Vocabulary, points, lines, planes, perimeter, area, volume, and the Pythagorean theorem are just some of the topics that are covered. There is plenty of practical, real-life problem solving that shows students the importance of geometry in the real world.

Love anything that helps my children learn.
